Pula is an internationally popular summer retreat, and the nearby pearl is the Brijuni national park. The most famous beaches in Pula are: Gortan Cove, Ambrela, Hawaiian, Sandy Bay and Valkana.
Banjole is a small fishing village, 6 km away from Pula. It was built by the Romans and today it has a population of nearly one thousand people. The majority of the population rents rooms or suits.
Kaštela is a picturesque town of Central Dalmatia, near Split, the largest Croatian town on the sea, Trogir, a UNESCO-protected city, and Solin, famous for its ancient Salona from the Roman times.
